About Bogie’s Puppet Friends

After traveling the country, doing school 🏫 assemblies, for the past 12 years with my dog 🐶 Bogart in the One Million Acts Of Kindness bus, 🚌 we had only one message for everyone, please be a little kinder 💕 than you already are.

It became a little bit harder and harder to visit schools 🏫 along our travels as time went by. There seemed to be too many new rules 👎 across the country, plus, both kindness buses 🚌🚌 broke down beyond my means to repair them.

Not to be deterred, 👏 I started writing and writing and writing for children
‍🙋🏽‍♀️🙋🏿🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏾🙋‍♀️🙋🏽🙋🏾‍♀️🙋🏻🙋🏿‍♀️🙋 everywhere. I always loved my school assemblies, talking to children about being kind 💕 to everyone throughout the world 🌎🌍🌏.

It was such a gift to be able to do our Kindness Bus 🚌 Tour for 12 years. Two things I learned which are so wonderful is that...

Children are amazing everywhere!!! And, they all want kindness 💕 in their lives!

Then, disaster struck! The dreaded PANDEMIC!!! 😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷 Ugggh! What to do? I was stuck. We were all stuck, like a bus 🚌 in mud puddle.

How do I continue my kindness 💕 mission?

So......I wrote and I wrote and I wrote while being locked 🗝️ down.

It’s amazing when you write with kindness in your heart, ❤️ beautiful things happen, especially when you let your mind free....IMAGINATION!!

My favorite part of my school 🏫 assemblies were my puppet shows. They were designed to nurture children by using beloved animals to teach important lessons for living their lives. There was a dog, 🐕 a cat, 🐈 a bunny, 🐰 a monkey, 🐒 and an owl. 🦉

Free again from the dreaded mask, 😷 I created a studio where I could film 🎥 my puppet shows, 1,000 of them, yes, 1,000 of them.

There are now 15 beloved animals including a cast of some lovable humans. The village has grown, wonderfully. Everyone in the village is so different from each other and yet they all get along beautifully.

There is a dog, 🐕 a cat, 🐈 a bunny, 🐰 a monkey, 🐒 an owl, 🦉 a parakeet family, 🦜🦜🦜 a puppy dog, 🐶 two mice 🐭🐭, a raccoon, 🦝 a giraffe, 🦒 a chicken, 🐓 a doctor, 👨🏽‍⚕️ an alien in his rocket, 🚀 a flamingo, 🦩 a 143-year-old grandmother, 👵 with many more to come. They will teach children, their parents and really the rest of us wonderful lessons in kindness. 💕

This is so much fun.
